Josie received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University Shreveport where she graduated Cum Laude and is months away from completion of her master’s degree in Psychology from Arizona State University.
While pursuing her degree at LSUS, Josie participated in an internship as a reading intervention specialist for an elementary-aged child. She briefly volunteered her time during undergrad in which she worked with the local Providence House as an administrative assistant. During her time at Arizona State, Josie was invited into the prestigious Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Society and Psi Chi. She has maintained an overall cumulative GPA of 4.0 and plans to further pursue her education after obtaining her master’s degree. Josie has clinical experience with multiple populations, in various settings including correctional facilities.
She has worked in ABA as a registered behavior technician in a 1:1 setting implementing behavior plans to children with developmental disabilities. Josie is trained to administer a variety of psychological testing including personality assessments, intelligence tests, achievement tests, memory tests, and malingering assessments.
Outside of work, Josie enjoys planning her upcoming wedding with her Fiancé and lots of dog park trips with her favorite pup, Penny. Her perfect weekend includes spending time with family and reading her latest book.
